Semi Hand-Stitched Sellier Kelly Inspired Leather Bag | LLSKY-GT001

Historically, we have predominantly utilized Epsom leather for the Sellier version of the Kelly bag. However, upon testing a sample crafted from box leather, we found ourselves captivated by the final effect. As a result, this time around, we have crafted three sizes of the Kelly bag using the remaining stock of box leather instead of Epsom leather.

Box Calf leather originates from the renowned French HAAS tannery. Its fine grain and smooth surface texture, combined with excellent elasticity, closely resemble those of vegetable-tanned leather, albeit with a moderate hardness. In this Kelly series, the exterior is hand-stitched using French Fil Au Chinois waxed thread, while the interior is machine-sewn. This approach ensures both aesthetic appeal and bag durability, all at a more accessible price point.
